How Madawa Services Works: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Initial Contact
- Inquiry: Reach out to us via phone, WhatsApp, or LINE to discuss your needs.
- Consultation: Our customer service officers will provide a detailed consultation to understand your requirements.
2. Needs Assessment
- Personalized Matching: Based on your needs, we will match you with the most suitable candidates from our pool of experienced professionals.
- Language Preference: We ensure that the caregiver speaks your preferred language (Thai, English, Chinese, or Burmese).
3. Candidate Selection
- Profile Review: We will send you profiles of potential candidates, including their experience, skills, and language abilities.
- Interviews: Schedule interviews with the candidates to find the best fit for your family.
4. Contract and Payment
- Subscription Fee: The subscription fee is paid one time after you decide to hire an employee, allowing you to use the employee as long as you want. The company guarantees a replacement if the employee and employer can’t work together. In case the contract is over and you need a replacement, a new subscription must be purchased.
- First Month Salary: In the first month, 25% of the employee’s salary is paid to the company along with the subscription fee, and 75% is paid to the employee after they have worked for one month or at the end of the month. In the case of short-term hires, the customer will offer 25% to the employees.
- Replacement Policy: For every replacement, 25% of the first month’s salary is paid to the company and 75% to the employee.
- Additional Fees: There is an additional fee of 1,000 baht for services outside Bangkok.
- Deposit Fee: A deposit fee of 2,000 baht is paid before we start looking for candidates.
- The deposit will be deducted from all fees after matching.
- The deposit is refundable if we can’t send any candidate profiles.
- Keeping the deposit as credit offers free 2 video call interviews when the customer comes back.
5. Ongoing Support
- Regular Check-ins: Our team will regularly check in with you to ensure everything is going smoothly.
- Support: If any issues arise, we provide ongoing support to address and resolve them promptly.
6. Additional Services
- Flexibility: If your needs change or you require additional services, we are flexible and ready to assist.
- Special Requests: We can accommodate special requests, such as elderly care, tutoring, or newborn care.
For Live-in Employees
- Working Hours: In case of work over 12 hours a day, working on a day off, or working on 13 public holidays, overtime pay follows Thai labor law.
- Meals and Accommodation: Customers offer meals three times a day or pay a food allowance of 120-150 baht per day, and provide a room, bedding, and essentials.
- Additional Pay: In case the employee sleeps with a child or elderly, an extra 3,000-5,000 baht per month is paid.
For Live-out Employees
- Meals: Customers will offer one meal for full-time employees. (In case of less than 5 hours/day, the customer does not need to provide a meal.)
